Agreement & Acceptance

Welcome to Lumina English Academy (“Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your enrolment in our 1:1 online English coaching programs, website usage, and communication channels. By completing an enrolment purchase, booking a consultation call, or accessing our lesson platform, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not enrol in our programs or use our services.

1:1 Online Coaching Services

Lumina English Academy provides premium, personalized 1:1 online English language coaching for adult learners. All coaching sessions are 40 minutes in duration and conducted live online via Google Meet or Zoom by Danielle (Founder & Head Coach).

Every enrolled student receives:

• Individualized 40-minute live 1:1 video sessions.
• Written post-session feedback notes, vocabulary expansions, and error corrections.
• A structured, personal learning roadmap tailored to your professional or personal goals.
• Direct 1:1 WhatsApp mentorship for ongoing guidance between scheduled sessions.

Package Validity & Expiration Periods

To ensure consistent student commitment and optimal speaking progress, all coaching lesson credits carry specified validity periods calculated from the date of enrolment purchase:

Unused lesson credits remaining after the expiration date will expire automatically and cannot be carried over, refunded, or transferred, except in documented cases of medical emergency or bereavement approved in writing by Danielle.

Student Conduct & Professional Expectations

Lumina English Academy maintains a supportive, professional, and respectful environment. Students agree to:

• Treat the instructor with dignity, courtesy, and professional respect at all times.
• Attend sessions in a quiet, distraction-free environment suitable for focused speaking practice.
• Refrain from recording sessions without prior mutual consent.

⚠️ Misconduct Warning: Harassment, inappropriate comments, offensive language, or abusive behavior will result in immediate program termination without refund or right of reinstatement.

Technical Requirements & Connectivity

Students are responsible for maintaining their own equipment and internet connectivity needed to participate in live video coaching sessions. This includes:

• A desktop computer, laptop, or tablet with a functional camera and microphone.
• A stable high-speed broadband internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download/upload).

Lessons disrupted due to student-side technical or internet failures cannot be extended or rescheduled beyond the regular 40-minute window.

Intellectual Property & Course Content

All learning roadmaps, written notes, worksheets, curriculum documents, website copy, logos, and instructional frameworks provided by Lumina English Academy are the sole intellectual property of Danielle and Lumina English Academy. Students are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials solely for their personal learning.

Reproduction, resale, public distribution, or commercial exploitation of Lumina materials is strictly prohibited without explicit written authorisation.

Age Limit & Eligibility

Lumina English Academy’s programs are tailored specifically for adult learners (ages 18 and older). By enrolling, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Enrolments for students under 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to the first session.

Amendments & Contact Information

Lumina English Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Notice of significant changes will be published on our website.
